Your success depends on how well you develop your most talented employees. CEO Partnership partners with you in developing training programs to address your most pressing business and leadership challenges.
Over the last fifteen years, we've provided training, facilitation, workshops and retreats for a wide variety of organizations and work teams – from high-tech firms to financial institutions, universities, cities, state and federal agencies, national health care providers, engineering and manufacturing firms.
We begin with an assessment of your training needs and then custom design programs that incorporate and reinforce your existing training programs or even current books you want to bring to life. In formats ranging from two hours to multiple days, every training program and retreat is designed to fit your schedule and tailored to help you meet your business objectives.
Depending on your preference, we will partner with world-class resorts in Colorado (and elsewhere) to deliver a truly memorable training program or we will come to your location and do the same.
Our training is unique in that our programs are highly interactive, hands-on, content-rich, innovative, fun and engaging, and designed to enable participants to immediately put their learning to work on the real-life problems and challenges your organization is facing today.

Conflict Management in the Workplace
Conflict costs U.S. organizations billions of dollars a year in wasted
staff time, unnecessary turnover, lost productivity, and the
consequences of poor decisions resulting from a process contaminated by
power contests. This workshop gets to the root of conflict. In this
workshop, we use The Conflict Lens® instrument, an assessment
instrument which identifies conflict behaviors, and provides a powerful
way to improve self-awareness of what triggers conflict in individuals
and how they respond to it. Based on these triggers and responses, the
Conflict Lens and this workshop provide practical approaches for
improving behaviors that promote more effective, constructive conflict
resolution. Conflict is not necessarily a bad thing. If it’s managed
constructively, it can result in new ideas, more informed decision
making, and better performance. But managing conflict requires skill,
knowledge and experience. There is an art to disagreeing and managing
conflict without injuring relationships. Everyone has a different way
of handling conflict, and it’s important to become adept in dealing
with the whole range of conflict styles. These days every organization
must train its employees to effectively manage conflict and resolve
issues that block performance. And the impact on your bottom line is
beautiful.

Powerful Communication Skills for Managers & Executives
Communicating effectively is perhaps the most basic critical skill to
an organization’s success. Good communication is not just about
speaking well. The strongest influence on the outcome of all
communications is the ability to listen effectively. Those who listen
well tend to respond more appropriately, subsequently building trust
and fostering positive business relationships. In this workshop we get
into listening, communication styles, the art of dialogue, asking
stimulating questions, balancing advocacy and inquiry, crafting
powerful messages, giving and receiving feedback, gender differences in
communication, and much more. This fun and engaging workshop is a
specialty of ours.

Power, Persuasion & Influence - We are What We Say
Some executives report spending as much as 70% - 80% of their time
influencing, persuading and motivating others. Our success,
relationships, leadership, and even our income depend on our ability to
persuade, motivate, and influence others. This workshop combines
scientific research with real-world studies to provide the most
authoritative and effective arsenal of proven techniques for
persuading, influencing, and motivating others. Participants learn the
use of “power language,” how to exercise influence, and how attention
to our verbal patterns helps us alter the balance of power.

Results Focused Leadership
This program focuses on results. The #1 reason people and organizations
don’t achieve their goals is a lack of focus. This training program
gets your entire leadership team focused on a set of mutually
understood results for the organization. We begin the training program
by working with you to identify the specific leadership skills and
competencies most important and most needed in your organization, those
most likely to bring about the results you are seeking. These
leadership skills may include bottom-line competencies such as
financial acumen, industry knowledge and competitiveness, and driving
execution. They may also include critical thinking skills, high-impact
presentation skills, and skills related to entrepreneurial risk taking.
And finally, they may also include some of the EI competencies such as
developing others, influencing and negotiating, fostering open
dialogue, inspiring trust, innovation, change management and visionary
leadership. The process of determining which leadership skills are most
important for your organization is, in itself, a one-day exercise
(often with a core group of executives and HR representatives) that
begins to clarify and bring into focus what the organization and its
members need to be doing to maximize results. The training program then
brings performance issues into clear focus, with an emphasis on the
skills and leadership competencies which will get the results you are
seeking.

Stress Management & Resiliency
We all know that too much stress hurts our health, our relationships,
and our productivity at work. Participants in this workshop learn to
identify ‘stressors’ and their sources and find ways to live with
stress and use it positively. Participants will gain tools to manage
stress, avoid burnout, strengthen coping skills, increase effectiveness
through positive mental attitudes, maximize well-being and build
resilience. Highly resilient individuals lead to highly resilient
organizations which can have a competitive edge in a business
environment where employees must do more with less, do it with higher
quality, in new ways, with less time and a smaller budget. This highly
interactive session reviews executive actions that increase or impair
personal and organizational resiliency.

Board & Executive Team Retreats
We work closely with you to design a retreat to strengthen and refine
your board’s or executive team’s vision, mission, goals, action plans
and ability to work collaboratively as a team. Together we define the
goals of the executive retreat, prioritize the issues, design
activities and dialogue which will address both business and human
issues, identify where the discussion may veer off track, agree on
strategies for handling potentially explosive issues, and create an
agenda that will move you quickly to your desired results.
